South Yorkshire Masters

The South Yorkshire Masters Open Meet will be running again in 2024 on Saturday 9th November 2024, at Ponds Forge (25m), Sheffield (12:30 Warm-up, 13:15 start). Events include:

50m & 100m all strokes

200m & 400m Free

100m IM

Mens / Ladies / Mixed 4x25m Free / Medley Relays.

Please find attached the entry form and further details/conditions of the meet. Entry forms can be completed electronically or printed, filled in & scanned – and then returned to me by email, or by post.  Payment can be made by BACS transfer or by cheque.

CLOSING DATE is 23:59 on Monday 28th October 2024.

Feel free to forward this email/information on to other Masters swimmers who may be interested in the event.

If you know someone who is interested in competing but isn’t a member of an affiliated club, temporary members are also welcome to enter.  (There is a cost of £18.30 plus individual entry fees, and they will need to complete an application form.)

As in previous years, we may be short of officials, so if you have any partners/relatives/friends who would be willing to officiate (or if you are willing to help out between your races) please let me know their contact details that I can pass on to our Officials Co-ordinator.  Travel expenses will be paid.  They don’t need to know all the “technical rules” – just the ability to start/stop a stopwatch on time will help. 😊
